Can I search for small towns or villages?
Yes! Our search feature works for virtually any location worldwide. If your town isn't in our pre-indexed list of 1,850+ cities, we'll create a dynamic page with real-time pressure data for that location.
Why is location permission requested?
We request location permission only to show you pressure data for your exact location. We don't store or track your location - it's used once to fetch current pressure data and then discarded. You can deny permission and still use the search feature.
What do the pressure categories mean?
- High Pressure (>30.20 inHg): Generally indicates fair, stable weather
- Normal Pressure (29.80-30.20 inHg): Typical conditions
- Low Pressure (<29.80 inHg): Often associated with clouds, precipitation

Why is sea level pressure different from station pressure?
Station pressure is the actual pressure at a location's elevation. Sea level pressure is adjusted to what the pressure would be at sea level, allowing for fair comparison between locations at different elevations. We display sea level pressure for consistency.
